It was designed to help everyone relax, laugh, and strengthen teamwork. Exploring the Flavors of Xi’an: A Culinary Adventure

Our team is made up of employees from Tianjin, Hanzhong, Shanxi, and beyond. We organized a food event featuring Xi’an’s iconic snacks. This helped everyone experience the local culinary culture and bond with colleagues. During the event, everyone eagerly shared the foods they had tried since arriving in Xi’an. We selected a few of the most iconic and memorable dishes, such as Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), Liangpi (cold noodles), Hulutou (pork belly soup), Saozi Mian (spicy noodles), and Zenggao (steamed glutinous rice cake).

The smooth texture and rich flavors of Liangpi were a hit, with everyone loving the refreshing sensation. The savory broth of Hulutou brought a cooling relief on a hot summer day. Saozi Mian’s tangy and spicy taste left everyone craving more. Our colleagues from Hanzhong especially praised the Xi’an version of this beloved hometown dish. Zenggao, with its soft texture and sweet date flavor, quickly became everyone’s new breakfast obsession.

Our boss, Mr. Zhao, went the extra mile by demonstrating the traditional way to make Roujiamo. Not only is he skilled in cooking, but he also took the time to learn the process beforehand. Under his guidance, we learned how to ferment the dough, cook the juicy, flavorful meat filling, and assemble it all into a delicious Roujiamo. Then, everyone got hands-on and made their own Roujiamo, proudly snapping photos of their creations.

The event was filled with laughter and smiles. Employees enjoyed the food they made and shared funny stories about their life in Xi’an. Through the delicious food and fun interactions, we got to know each other better. We also felt the warmth and camaraderie of our team.

Special Moments: The Ultimate Team Challenge

After indulging in Xi’an’s delicious snacks, our team was ready for the next challenge. It was even more exciting and fun-filled—the “Ultimate Team Challenge.” The employees were divided into three groups. Each team had to work together with perfect coordination to complete a series of fun tasks. The most popular game was undoubtedly “Pictionary.”

In “Pictionary,” each team took turns sending one member to draw a word on the whiteboard based on their teammates’ hints, while the rest had to guess the word within a set time. What seemed like a simple game quickly became hilarious due to the different ways people interpreted and expressed ideas.

For instance, one round involved the word “hot air balloon.” The colleague who was drawing looked a bit puzzled about how to represent this concept simply. They started by drawing a big circle and then added some strange shapes at the bottom, trying to depict the balloon’s basket. But the result looked more like a giant light bulb, leaving the teammates completely baffled.

Then the guesses started flying: “A light bulb?” “A lantern?” “A balloon?” But no one could get it right. The artist, growing increasingly anxious, added some lines above the circle to represent the ropes of the hot air balloon. Unfortunately, this only made the drawing more abstract, resembling a giant fruit basket floating in the air. When time ran out, everyone burst into laughter, and this “hot air balloon” became one of the biggest laughs of the day.

Even though the word wasn’t guessed in time, the game brought endless laughter and joy to the event. Through the “Ultimate Team Challenge,” everyone showcased their creativity and imagination. With each round, the team’s chemistry and cooperative spirit grew stronger. After the competition, the most outstanding team received a special prize. The team that provided the most laughs was awarded the “Best Comedy Act” title.

Fun Raffle: Surprises Galore

After the games, the company prepared a fun raffle. It added even more surprises and joy to the day’s festivities.  The team that showed the best teamwork in the previous game got the privilege of drawing first. This made the raffle even more exciting.

The prizes were not only practical but also creative and fun. From “Lunch Vouchers” and “Mystery Gifts” to “Overtime Coupons,” there was something for everyone, including a few unexpected surprises. As the raffle progressed, the atmosphere quickly heated up.

The first lucky winner drew a “Lunch Voucher,” sparking envious glances from everyone. The next colleague drew an “Overtime Coupon.” This triggered a round of good-natured laughter as everyone joked, “You better enjoy that lunch—it looks like you’ll be working late afterward!”

The most amusing moment came when one colleague won the same prize twice—a “Mystery Gift.” This coincidence piqued everyone’s curiosity as they speculated about what the mysterious gift could be. Under the spotlight, the colleague finally revealed the “Mystery Gift”—a set of fun board games, which brought another wave of cheer to the event.

The entire raffle was filled with laughter and excitement. With each prize announcement, everyone felt a mix of anticipation and thrill. They wondered if they would be the next lucky winner. These creative prizes and amusing moments added lots of fun to the event. They also wrapped up the day’s food feast on a joyful note.
